Suggest Treatment For Cough And Chest Pain

Good morning sir iam Ammara age 29 iam having a little pain in chest when i cough. i have seen a doctor he told me go for x ray then for ct scan (ct chest without contrast)the report is moderate amount of left plural collection with suggestion of few septations /loculations with extension into fissures and causing passive collapse of left lung more so involving left lower lobe with suggestion of septal thickening and crowding of BronchoVascular markings

Hello,

You may be suffering from the collapse of the lung due to pleural effusion. It may be due to bacterial or aseptic effusion (exudative).

May need to tap the pleural fluid for both diagnostic and therapeutic then send it for analysis for total protein, sugar levels and differential count.

ADA levels may use to confirm the cause. so please consult your pulmonologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
