Suggest Treatment For Cough And Cold In A Child

My 4yrs old girl baby suffering from cough and cold. Doctor suggested Cetrizine & T- minic of 2.5ml both for 3 times a day. Three months before doctor suggested T-minic but the medical store said that T-minic is stopped&banned so you may buy Coriminic, both are same. But now the store says T-minic is available you may buy it. But i reply that you are already told that T- minic is banned.. Then how it is available? he said I dont know, but now it is available .. So kindly request you to suggest me that T-minic is banned or not? and suggest the good medicine without side effect for my baby

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Warm or very cold liquids make excellent cough remedies for kids because they thin out mucus, making it easier to cough up. Plus, liquids soothe a raw throat and keep your little one hydrated. Have your child drink ice water, cold or warm juice, or decaffeinated tea mixed with honey.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Monish De, Oncologist
