Suggest Treatment For Cough And Flu In A Child

Hi. My name is aisha Islam. My daughter is 1.6 years old and after every six months she goes through cough and flu. Doctor recommended me zatofen and brytanyl, and after a week or so when she recovers I stop giving her medicines. My query is that why does she goes through it periodically. Is there a way to prevent it?
