Suggest Treatment For Cough And Flu Symptoms

Hi,
I have been really unwell for the past couple of weeks. 6 days in bed with flu, with cough, which I have had since 17th December. I have had two lots of steroids and one course of anti biotics. Since Monday my glands in my neck are swollen and very sore. I have just had another coughing fit, which has left me with a pain under my right arm, sharp pains in my head chest and lower back, which are easing off now. I have COPD and athsma. I am scared

Thanks for posting your query.

Your problems can be explained by either Throat infection or Lung Infection. You need to undergo certain tests to know where is the infection.

Also let me know what antibiotic was prescribed to you , in what dose and for how long you have taken it.

I advise you to get these tests and revert back with reports.

Complete Hemogram , Throat Swab Culture sensitivity, Chest X ray , Sputum for AFB , Sputum Culture sensitivity.

Till then do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day, steam inhalation . drink hot water , eat less oily food , avoid non veg food and avoid citrus fruits.
