Suggest Treatment For Cough, Fever, Extreme Fatigue, Confusion And Brain Fog

I have been trying to find a answer to my problem and had no luck and I have no medical at this time to get testing done. Last month I got a extremely bad cough and ended up getting a temperature of 103.5. Took something to bring the temp down I started feeling better within 2 days. I went back to work and started doing my normal activities but I still have extreme fatigue as soon as I wake up from a 8 hour sleep. I sometimes feel like I m gonna pass out behind the wheel. I also have confusion and brain fog. I would really appreciate some advice on this so I can get back to my normal life. Thanks in advanced

Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

You still have infection and need a proper course of antibiotics and some medications for symptomatic relief.

If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Azithromycin antibiotic class of drug , if not allergic to and ofcourse a follow-up after a week. Add Excedrin PM to be taken in the evening close to the bed time.

If feel cough take over the counter available cough syrup. Do nasal douches with saline warm water. Gargles with listerine ( if not allergic to) are good for you. Take plenty of fluids and proper rest to get better soon.

Follow up after a couple of days of treatment to see how you doing.

Hope I answered all of your health concerns . If you have further questions in future, feel free to contact me anytime & I will get back to you in no time. Please give a positive feedback.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
