Suggest Treatment For Cough In A Child

my 2 month old has congestion off and on through out the day,has a slight cough don t sound whooping or barking but does sound wet, and his cry sounds hoarse and he just has that sick look in his eyes. His eating hasn t changed in amount however he seems to throw up more of the formula since he has had these symptoms. should I take him to the dr or hold off and continue with saline drops, suction, steam room and vaporizer?
