Suggest Treatment For Cough With Mucus And Blood In The Throat

I have been coughing up blood with mucus in the mornings. Went to an ENT who said my ears, nose and throat are ok. He ordered an upper GI scope which is scheduled for 6/10. About a half an hour ago, I felt liquid in my throat and brought up right red blood...no mucus. Do I need to go to the ER or call my doctor?

You need to have an urgent esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and bronchoscopy of your lungs, if the former turns out clean.
