Suggest Treatment For Cough,fever And Headache
Hello doctor , I am a 40 year old man with history of gastritis , now from the past four days I m having chills with fever and headache and cough and lots of almost yellowish green kind of phelgm and I feel like there is something stuck in my throught , also I can not eat much it comes to my throught , please help,I have taken Theraflu , Motrin and tyenol.thank you

Thanks for posting your query to health care magic. As I understand you are suffering from some kind of respiratory infection it could be of viral or bacterial in origin .
first you should go for sputum examination for gram staining and culture and sensitivity it will suggest you to decide weather it is viral or bacterial in origin and then you can take medication accordingly . presently you are taking medication are decongestant ,antihistamine and antipyretic ,these medicine will relieve your symptom but if infection is of bacterial in origin you require antibiotic according to sensitivity .
If it is a viral infection you should maintain a good nutritional and hygienic condition .
