Suggest Treatment For Cracked Skin Around Lips

Hiee i have been to United sates 2 days back i found that my portion around the lips got cracked i used cold cream and the other day i woke up i found my upper li bluged.... wat might be the reason...wat should i do to restore my lips ......my age is 23 im an indian...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain cracked lips around the mouth can be due to a number of causes like dehydration, excessive exposure to cold weather, allergic reaction to any skin cosmetic, fungal or bacterial infection or can be due to Perioral dermatitis..

I would suggest you to apply a thick coat of petroleum jelly over the lips and adjoining areas, apply beeswax containing lip balm..
You can also avoid excessive exposure to cold weather or dry air..
Do cool compresses..
Apply antiseptic cream over it..
Drink plenty of water..
In case if the symptoms still does not improve consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can evaluated you for bacterial or fungal infection and treat you accordingly..
