Suggest Treatment For Cracked Vertebrae

71 y/o female anaplastic astrocytoma stage 3/4 currently in snf for cracked vertabrae due to fall oncologist and radiologist disagreed about last findings on mri (surgery right temporal lobectomy, lesions removied from parietal lobe as well), 36 radiation treaments, 2 cycles temodar) undergoing physical therapy to regain strength and occupational therapy-Original diagnosis end of October surgery 12/11/09 She is working hard but has little stamina and is in considerable pain. She was offered nothing in the way of therapy post brain surgery for rehabilitation, is this because her life expectancy is short? We are trying to get her back home? Is this a reasonable goal or should we expect a continued decline? Also, how will we know when to consult hospice? Any assistance you can give would be a blessing.
