Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding

I am 45 years old and I am experiencing cramping and abnormal vaginal bleeding. I am having a clear discharge that is streaked with bright red blood and have been doing this for 7 days. I had it also happen 3 weeks ago that lasted 3 days. What could the cause of this be? I am scheduled to see my doctor this week.
