Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Clots

3-4 weeks ago I had unprotected axe with my husband. I have also been drinking alcohol more than normal. I have been cramping all day and I felt as if my uterus was about to explode and when I went to the bathroom I had dried up black blood and when I wiped it was black blood then I had clots. What could this be? I ve been weak and shaking all day even after having plenty to eat and plenty to drink.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question. Unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy. Spotting and black coloured clots with uterine cramping are more suggestive of pregnancy. Moreover, symptoms like dizziness and weakness are also present in early pregnancy.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done.
Whether positive or negative, you should consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Dr Deepti Verma
