Hi,

Abdominal cramps and spotting after periods can occur due to hormonal imbalance. Antispasmodics like Mefenamic Acid or pain killers like Ibuprofen can be taken to reduce abdominal pain and cramps. Prolonged bleeding can cause excess bleeding and anemia. You may need to take hormonal pills to reduce the bleeding and regulate your menstrual cycles.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
