Suggest Treatment For Cramps, Fatigue And Loss Of Appetite

Mondat evening into yesterday bad stomach cramps, weakness, chills, hot sweats and fatigue . Yesterday morning felt very bloated and had to use suppository to move bowels. Also yesterday pain on left side by hip bone ..soft tissue to touch. Better today. Still tired. I have an appetite today. Had toast, some soup. After eating, mild cramping. Is this a virus? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you describe are likely to be due to a viral infection, mostly gastroenteritis. It normally lasts 3-5 days and should go away on its own. Meanwhile, make sure you do drink plenty, eat frequent small amounts of food and rest as needed.

If you notice no improvement in a few days or notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
