Suggest Treatment For Cramps In The Arm

Anytime I m about to throw up I get a cramp in my right arm at the base of my deltoid. It s always just been my body s way of warning me seconds before. I ve just never heard of anyone else ever having the same thing. It s nothing I ve ever worried about but I was just wondering if it was a fairly common occurance.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As these cramps are due to the weakness or the deltoid muscle.

In general, any muscle which is weak will have disturbed physiology and may lead to cramps. Some get in the neck, upper back, forearm, legs, thighs etc.

I will advise to do low-intensity shoulder stabilization exercises and strengthening exercises. This should help avoid cramps.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
