Suggest Treatment For Cuts And Pain On Vagina Post Intercourse
I m worried if I might have given my girlfriend something she keeps getting cuts on her Virginia that are cause her alot of stinging pain and I m getting tars at the end of my genital s I also have little white pimple liking pumps around the head of my penis
She is infected with bacterial vaginosis. You are suggested to use vaginal lubricants during sex and avoid rough sex. Stay gentle and don't do it in a hurry. She can insert Metronidazole suppository in the vagina once daily at bed time for 3-5 days. She can take Combiflam, one SOS when required to get relief from pain. She should have Urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to detect UTI. She will be treated accordingly if detected with UTI.
It is better for the partner also to do urinalysis (R/E and C/S) and both partners to do STD tests to stay on the safer side. If detected positive you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. Both of you should take care of your hygiene. Take regular baths, the bumps on the head of the penis will go away by itself. Avoid sex for a couple of days. Always perform safe sex & avoid multiple partners.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
