My mouth was fine a few days ago, and I haven t eaten any unusual foods recently or anything I don t usually eat. This morning I found one long cut along my gum on the roof of my mouth which are sore when eating hot food/crisps now its gone down to two big cuts. What should I do?

Hello
I share your concern
Looking at your description this might be caused by poor oral hygiene, Nutrional deficiency like B complex and vitamin C or an infection or inflammation of oral cavity

I would like more details like habit of smoking or ingestion of hot or spicy meals.

In my opinion you should take cold or icy food like ice creams for an soothing effect
you should take multivitamin like B complex and folic acid

if it doesn't improve with that the you should see a doctor for physical examination and a course of antibiotics if need be

Hope this helps you
Best wishes
