Suggest Treatment For Cyst In Ear With Discharge

Hello, I have a small hole next to each ear that drains white cottage cheese-like discharge daily. Normally, they drain about an amount equal in size to a grain of rice. About two weeks ago, one has stopped draining, and I can feel a large (maybe the size of a very small marble) bump or cyst underneath the hole. It seems like it is clogged somehow. What is the treatment and should I be concerned? Thank you.

Hello,

You may be suffering from preauricular sinus. May possibility of boil or acne. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your ENT specialist in case of boil or acne he gives antibiotics. In the case of preauricular sinus, he may do surgical excision of the sinus.
