Suggest Treatment For Cyst In The Head

My mother has a cyst in the head of her pancreas that has grown from 17 to 22 mm. She is having pain in her side radiating through her back. She's had a ct scan, mri, and ultrasound. She's been told it's only a cyst, but her gastrologist wants to check the fluid in the cyst. Should she be concerned?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The history suggest cyst in the pancreas - if it is a simple cyst then any one will recommend to get a followup and monitored.
2.Since its symptomatic and size is increasing in size - it needs attention.
3.An diagnostic taping will be good to know what type of cells are involved in the process.
4.If simple infective aetiology - therapeutic taping followed by antibiotic treatment and followup will be indicated.
5.And pancreatic enzymes need to be monitored. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
