Suggest Treatment For Dandruff And Hair Loss

I ve been experiencing dandruff and pimples alike infection on my scalp which is worsening my pimples on forehead and face. I also have black patch on chin and around nose. My dermatologist has prescribed me Minoz Er 65 mg, and to apply twice a day--deriva CMS gel and kojiglo forte cream. Do I need to apply these creams all over the face? What will the suitable time to apply both creams? Please also suggest something for dandruff and excessive hair fall I m 25 year old female.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

For dandruff I suggest you to use a ketoconazole based shampoo, e.g., Nizoral 2% shampoo, every alternate days. Lather it well on to wet scalp and allow it to act for 7-10 minutes before rinsing it off. For acne I suggest you to continue with Adapalene and Clindamycin combination gel (Deriva CMS gel). Apply a thin layer over acne prone skin. For daytime I suggest you to use Clindamycin 1% gel for acne. Kojic acid-based cream (Kojiglo Forte) is for pigmentation on chin and around node. Use it twice daily. This cream can also be used to lighten dark spots left over by acne.
