Hi, over the last 3 weeks I have had dark bloody mucous in my stool. I have chronic constipation (close to 8years now called slow transit constipation which I take coloxyl and senna/dulcolax nigtly for) but the motions are small and completely coated in this mucous. I have considerable pain on the right side of belly button and bottom left abdomen. I feel intense pressure in rectum area constantly and when I try to use the toilet I don t go or only small amount. I feel bloated all the time too. My mother has ulcerative colitis and my paternal grandfather had bowel cancer but I don t know if it was a primary cancer or secondary cancer (died age 83)
