Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

I have gone through your query .The dark spots and pigmentation as you mention in your query are hyperpigmentation of skin means over production of melanin pigment under the skin. The condition is also known as solar lentigene because excessive sun exposure leads to over production of melanin .But there are other trigger factors also like hormonal changes and some underlying disease.

The cream melacare is very effective as far as hyperpigmentation is concern,But it should be use only under the expert advice.Because it contain hydroquinone ,teritinoin and steroid .which should not be use in long term ,not more then 2 month that too under expert advice.in addition method of using it is very important You should use it at night ,wash it in the morning and apply sunscreen .Do not expose yourself to sun while melacare on your face.

I would suggest you to consult dermatologist ,Doctor may prescribe you other creams like creams containing kojic acid and azelaic acid which are more safer and effective as far as hyperpigmentation is concern. For more severe case treatment like laser therapy and chemical peel are also available.

for now what you can do is apply broad spectrum while going outside, apply aloe veera gel ,lemon juice for 5-10 mins daily and wash off and drink plenty of water.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
