Suggest Treatment For Dark Pigmentation On The Face Of A Child
Hello Doctor, My one year old son poured a hot tea on his face and body..We immediately opted to go for Plastic Surgery biobrane sheet)..now he completely healed (into third week), the problem is dark pigmentation appears on his cheeks, nose and chin..when i went to the doctor for his check up and they said, it will go ina few years, the pigments are waking up from his newly formed cells..I really need a solution for my baby to get back to his normal fair skin..plz prescribe any cream or ointment
Hyper pigmentation can happen after a burn. Generally it will resolve but it takes longer duration for complete remission of the condition. You can try depigmenting ointments like vitamin E creams for faster recovery. You can also opt for laser treatment in case the pigmentation persist. You can consult a dermatologist and he will direct you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
