Hello,
I can understand your concern for treatment of dark under arms caused by hormonal imbalance. After analyzing you query I can make out a possibility of Pseudo or better known as hereditary Acanthosis nigricans.

In this condition it is typically seen that there is increase in pigmentation at the folds of the skin and there is darkness mainly at underarm and neck or gluteal region.

In the management of this condition it is quite important to reduce weight. It is one of the most important parts in the management of this condition. Increase in weight is most significant factor in increasing the pigmentation. So reduction of weight is the most important factor.

For managing my patients I generally go for trichloro-acetic acid peel or glycolic peel. I also suggest my patients to apply Azelaic and glycolic acid creams. I suggest you to meet a dermatologist to get best management of the same.

All the best.
