Suggest Treatment For Deep Vein Thrombosis In The Leg
My daughter-in-law has pain and discomfort and a slightly raised blood vessel in her right lower leg, The pain runs up the right leg to the inside of her right thigh. She also has bowel issues, difficulty going, and occasional bleeding. How can I convince her to go to the Dr. She says she doesn't have time and it comes and goes.

DVT is an emergency and must be managed in specialized units.If not, more deadly complications like pulmonary embolus may set in.I will suggest she goes to the intensive care unit immediately for management.The treatment for this condition can not be handled at home.Her bowel issues will be investigated in the hospital.
