Suggest Treatment For Degenerative Disc Disease

hi,i have degenerive disc disease i'm 54 ,i was on workers comp 2000-2004.I've tryed to work these past yrs, I've either had to quit or got fired because of the pain or not able to move to well or sit or stand for ahour or longer. which type of DR. should i see? i have no ins. but welfare will pay for one DR. visit so ican get cash asst. and medical .
