Suggest Treatment For Dehydration And Diarrhea

I've had extremely bad diarrhea for a little over a month after having a really bad abscess and I went to the hospital the doctor talked to me for maybe 3 minutes the entire time i was there and just quickly dismissed me even though i was in excruciating pain. Well now I am starting to get more worried because all of a sudden i'm just feeling extremely dry, i'm constantly drinking water but it doesn't seem to do any justice except make me even more thirsty. No one will help me and i'm completely lost and I don't know what to do.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Diarrhea lasting that long without any associated symptoms (including fever, as you have not mentioned it) warrants a colonoscopy to be conducted. It could be possible that you have some underlying condition (Eg, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.), which requires immediate diagnosis and treatment.

Do consider changing your doctor if this one does not pay much attention to you and also get your blood glycemic profile conducted while at the doctors.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
