Suggest Treatment For Delay In Periods

from last few months i had delay period. this month i supposed to have period on 20th august, 2014. i had consulted doc for this and the doc suggested to take restrogen tablet for 5 day, 2 tablet per day. I had took the table but still period dont come. what to do? no sexual intercourse took place. i am 29 yrs old 50 kg weight.
