Suggest Treatment For Dementia For A 78-year-old Male

My husband 78 yrs old has been diagnosed with dementia. One symptom he has is he has me separated in his mind into 3 different women but we are all sort of connected together...seems like I never know who I ll be from one day to the next. We had heard there was a term called shadow imaging or something like that. I am the only one that this involves. Is there a name for this? We ve been married for 54 yrs & known each other since early teen years. I know his last EEG done in April shown a slowing of the brain waves from the previous test. Would that have a bearing on this problem?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, what the history you gave here may not be indicative of any dementia but it may be some kind of psychological disorders now for some systemic disease MRI can be done, and better to see the psychiatrist too, hope this information helps.
