Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. A lot of individuals after suffering from some emotional trauma develop depressive symptoms and adjustment problems. You are already on antidepressants still the anxiety is persistent. So in such case I'd advise you to consult your psychiatrist for any dose modifications of your drugs because of persistent symptoms.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Counselling with a good psychologist also supplement the effects of medicines. Visit a psychologist for detailed help. In cognitive abnormal thought processes and cognitive distortions are corrected and individuals are taught to relax in anxiety provoking situations. Consult a psychologist for help. Don't remain distressed with proper medicines and CBT your symptoms would reduce.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
