Suggest Treatment For Depression In A Bipolar Person

My neice has bipolar ,depression and has tried so many meds nothing is working, I suggested to her to maybe be place in facility so they can monitor her closely.im very frustrated because she uses this as a crutch so the focus is always on her.and if you dont do what she wants she flips out and calls u every name in the book.
