General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It would be best to be seen and assessed.

I am sorry that you are feeling this down. Mental illness is as or sometimes more important than physical illness because of mental illness impacts on our bodies and minds. It would also have a profound effect on those around us, such as spouses and especially children.

You would need to be seen as soon as possible, at least by your GP, who may be able to refer you to someone else, if he or she cannot treat you effectively.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
