Suggest Treatment For Depression With Epilepsy And Memory Loss

My father is 55 years old. Whenever he is depressed, after few days, he gets fits attack. Recently 2 weeks before he had an attack and he was not able to remember anything that whole day. Later after one week he got Pneumonia fever. Now he does not have fever. Sometimes he forgets what he had spoken 12 hrs earlier. What this symptoms indicates. I have no idea what to do... We are staying in Nanganallur, chennai. Can you suggest us any ideas like precautions and any treatments to be made.
