Suggest Treatment For Depression

Hi... my niece is always scared of her loved ones death she thinks that she is gonna miss her parents soon and i always see her in tears and depressed when she remembers this. she is very brilliant student. Even i was same like her in my childhood even now i'm not completely changed but i lost many things cos of this depression i dont want her lose like me plz help ...

I think she needs psychological treatment like cognitive therapies first, to correct her negative thoughts. If this doesnt work, drug treatment would then be required. Drugs like escitalopram and sertraline are helpful.
