Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Im 23, 5'5", 120 and no medical history. I recently started a new job about 2 months ago and loved it at first but not i hate it and don't ever want to go. I think i may be getting a little depressed over the situation but am not sure why i feel this way about the job now.
You have developed the symptoms in about 2 months of starting the job. You have depressive symptoms. Most likely the symptoms are occurring due to Adjustment Disorder. This is a type of disorder in which due to some distressing stimulus individuals start to have symptoms of depression or anxiety. When you joined the job you liked it but after some time developed the symptoms. Work pressure, changed work environment, lack of friends etc are main reasons for poor work performance and depressive symptoms.
Try to finish your work in time, give yourself quality time in recreational activities also. Give proper time with families. Talk to your close friends if there is any stress at job.
If condition still persist even after life style changes consult a psychiatrists. Low dose anti-depressants like Bupropion or anti anxiety drugs like Buspiron can help in such cases. In sever cases conventional antidepressants are given.
Thanks, hope this helps you
