Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You were having symptoms of depression and were taking Cipralex which is a SSRI drug. The drug helps to improve serotonin transmission in brain and results in improvement. You have taken the drug for three months and no improvement occurred and then you stopped the medicine abruptly. In my opinion sudden stoppage of medicine has resulted in your side effects and this situation. In usual cases the withdrawal symptoms usually reduce in about 2 weeks. So no need to worry. Please discuss with your psychiatrist if symptoms persist.

Apart from this you have also started to smoke marijuana and this has resulted in aggravation of symptoms of anxiety. I would advise you to stop smoking marijuana or pot and try to relax yourself for proper relief of your symptoms.

Thans, I hope this helps you. take care
