bipolar help im bipolar 2, stable and medicated for 4 years. ive entered a depressive phase (episode). i know i need to go see my dr. how can i get through the next week? what can i do to make the suicidal thoughts stop? i wont do anything stupid, i just need a short term solution. i dont get paid till Friday so dr must wait until then. i cant remember how i coped before the meds. any advise is welcome.thanks for your time!
I think, you have bipolar depression. In that case, you need mood stabilizer with antidepressant. Mood stabilizer would help to stop mood swing and antidepressant would help to come out of depression. In antidepressant, i would suggest paroxetine or bupropion due to less manic switch with them. You should consult your psychiatrist about proper treatment. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
