Suggest Treatment For Diabetes And Shortness Of Breath

I am 75 and need a knee replacement, have needed one for over 10 years. I would like to continue putting it off, but the knee is getting worse. I have a fib , shortness of breath and diabetes. My cardiologist has said that I am not a good candidate for surgery. So is there another alternative for surgery? I have medicare and a supplement. Thank you.

Hi,

I would like to tell you that if your cardiologist is saying you are fit for surgery from the cardiac side then kindly get a consultation done with your ortho surgeon and let his anesthesiologist asses you if everything goes fine then you can get it done.
