Hi Karunakar,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The occasional chest pain you are having might be due to:
- heart problems
- GERD/gastritis or other stomach issues

If you have done regular check ups every 6 months (including heart check-up I believe) and everything resulted normal, then, the most probable cause to heart burn and occasional chest pain might be GERD/gastritis problems.

I advise to consult with a GI specialist and to schedule upper endoscopy for further evaluation.

For the moment, I advise to:
- eat often and small portions
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- avoid chilly, spicy, oily foods
- avoid caffeinated drinks
- have your meals regularly, do not skip them
- take OTC antacids and ranitidine at night

With regards to blurring vision, it might be related to:
- oscillations in blood pressure/sugar levels
- damages to the eyes due to diabetes

Get further evaluation of your eyes from an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.

Wish fast recovery!
