Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Chest Pain

Yes I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago and I ate cold cabbage and I got sick that early Sunday morning with diarrhea. And when I laid down that morning around 8am...it felt like a brick was on my chest and back....it couldn t hardly move. This lasted a week because I thought it w a s gas. Now the gas pain has left and I m having a little chest pain . I have had a heart attack once about 2 years ago. The pain is not constance . It may happen once a day or might skip a day.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Pain may be due to bronchospasm or allergic bronchitis or infection or heart failure etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use bronchodilators, elevate the head end of the bed. please get a chest x-ray and echocardiography. Then consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
