Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea Caused After Taking Aspirin For A Long Time

My husband has been asprin for a number of years he has been having problems with loose stools burning stomach He wasstruck by lighting I 2008 since then he has been put on other meds for parkinsons is this a result of asprin confli cting with other meds

Hello,

It is not related to Aspirin.

The symptoms are partly due to gastritis associated with chronic drug intake.

As a first line management, you can try antacids like Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
