Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea, Fever And Abdominal Pain

my son 14 years, got sick with stomach flu on Saturday, fever, vomiting, bad tummy pains. next day same, monday also diarrhea. took him to doc on tuesday to clear out dengue fever. we live in Asia. he said its most likely just stomach bug but he also had high hemoglobin, 17. He has had no fever since maybe sunday monday. Stomach pains gone too but is still sick with headache and dizziness, lightheaded, week. eating plain food and i am treating with home remedies and he had homeopathic medicine too.

Hello,

Symptoms are quite common in many illnesses. As you have taken him to the doctor and he checked him and assured you of nothing serious but a stomach bug which led to vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhea . currently he is having dizziness, weakness and headache which is likely the result of dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhea and other symptoms.

I would suggest you to follow your doctor’s advice and make sure he stays sufficiently hydrated till he feels better. as there is no fever and other symptoms have subsided. He will recover soon. Only thing is he should have nutritional diet to fight weakness. You mentioned about homeopathy medicine, I guess you are giving him the medicines with the doctor’s advice then its absolutely fine.

If there is not much improvement you see, then visit your doctor and follow his advice for further management.
