Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Breathing And Heaviness In The Chest
i am a 39 year old female with no known health issues. i have been feeling very run down, as if i can t get a deep enough breath, sometimes too tired to continue talking. i ve also been feeling occasional pain in my chest, shoulder and abdomen - always on the left side. it s sometimes an ache, more of a heaviness, and sometimes a sharper pain. it can last for hours.
General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. As you getting chest pain it is better to have an ecg examination to rule out any cardiac problems. A tread mill test also should be done to rule out exercise induced ischaemia. Problems due to gastritis should be ruled out also. Another possibility is costochondritis. In this case pain will be present while palpation. A consultation with with your general practitioner is well appreciated to rule out all these. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
