Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Breathing And Sore Throat Due To Cold
I have a cold and I lost my voice today. Tonight I fell asleep for two hours but now I have anxiety about sleeping. I m afraid the cold medicine will wear off in my sleep and I won t be able to breathe. I feel like I can t clear my throat and my nose won t stay clear. I can t talk at all either. How do I alleviate the breathing and throat clearing so I can calm down and sleep?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely upper respiratory infection. In such case i advise Antihistamines, nasal decongestants and rest. You can take tea with lemon, warm chicken soup with pepper and Vit c .If bacterial infection is there then antibiotics will be needed. Steam inhalation will be helpful also. You can use over the counter steam inhalants for that. Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further queries. Thanks
