Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Breathing Post A Cortisone Shot
I got a cortisone shot in my back around my shoulder blade area last Tuesday and I have been feeling really crapy since with bits of angzitey and some times when I lay down it feels a little hard to breath .how long dose this stay in your system and should I be worried or will it pass soon .or should I go to the dr
You seem to have anxiety which is causing you to have it difficult to breathe. The time a cortisone shot stays in the body depends on the kind of cortisone you used but normally you should not have symptoms related to one shot after 3-4 days. You may also have anxiety problems unrelated to the cortisone use so if your symptoms last more than 2 weeks you will need to talk to your doctor.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Kind regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
