Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Climbing Stairs
Hello Doctor! My EIGHT YEAR OLD son find it difficult to climb stairs and more difficult to get down stairs. Also he is not comfortable without seat belt in moving car( seat belt is not a mandatory condition in INDIA)... I feel he has some mental issues.. Can you guide.... I got him checked fro Autism, and he is not autistic. He has a an IQ OF 108

First of all, it's sad to know what your son had been going through lately.
Based on the history you have shared, he should be checked for any muscular dystrophy and blood LDH levels as well muscle enzymes need to be reviewed.
A pediatrician review is a must. Gait abnormalities should also be checked and neurological examination must be done too.
