Hi,i am reena from nanded I m pcod patient , irregular menses, i have thyroid also I want to become pregnant bt it nt get happen Treatment is is going from January bt till date i am nt pregnant please help m some about medicine From last 2 months m taking ovalife and progesterone tabs Please suggest m for Another treatment
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Polycystic ovary syndrome treatment generally focuses on management of your individual main concerns.In your case, difficulty conceiving.This happens to be a very common challenge in women suffering from PCOS. Ovalife alone may not produce the results.Since are trying to get pregnant, you may need a medication to help you ovulate. Clomiphene (Clomid, Serophene) is an oral anti-estrogen medication that you may take in the first part of your menstrual cycle. If clomiphene alone isn't effective, your doctor may add metformin to help induce ovulation.If pregnancy is still difficult, see your Gynecologist to exploit other options like gonadotropins — follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) medications that are administered by injection.
