Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Sleeping When On Metoprolol

I take 25mg of metoprolol twice a day a beta block morning and evening. Have taken it for about a year and a half, I am now 75 years old and have started having trouble sleeping is there a sleeping aid that will not interact with the beta block negatively that I am taking.

Hello,
Try to shift the evening dose to afternoon and then see if the problem solves by itself.
If not, then adding 0.5mg clonazepam will help a lot. Reduce the dose to half after few days and then make it alternate day...
try to stop it after two weeks.
