My brother drinks about 16 beers a day he throws up and then turns around and drinks more beer after about a week or two he has trouble swallowing , do you haVe any solutions for him or me to tell him, thanks he is 54yrs. 6ft tall and weighs about 175 lbs

Hello,

We don't know, what is the cause for difficulty in swallowing until the examination. Possible causes are
1. Esophagitis.
2. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
3. Esophageal varices.
4. Pharyngitis etcetera.
Please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
