Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Swallowing

Hello Doctor, My mother was chewed pan masala for past 15 years. Nowadays her jaws are locked and she cannot able to intake hard food and she is taking only liquid food for the past 1 week. She stopped the pan masala before 6 months but she is getting irritation in her mouth and she cannot able to swallow the tablets also. How can my mother get release from these problems. Can you please give me a solutions. THANKING YOU.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be oral submucous fibrosis since she is chewing pan from 15 yrs.. it will lead to inability to open the mouth ..Kindly consult an oral medcine /oral surgeon for chck up and treatment.. hope it helps.tc
